Sandee, who is a lifetime Huntsville resident, graduated from Sam Houston State University with a double major in Finance and Commercial Lending and Banking. She is a commercial insurance underwriter for Philadelphia Insurance, which specializes in nonprofits. Sandee has a long history of serving on boards of multiple organizations. 

Sandee and husband Sean have two children.
