Bill currently serves as Precinct 3 Commissioner in Walker County. Prior to that, he worked 26 years at the City of Huntsville, leaving in 2008 as the Director of Public Works. Bill is President of the Rotary Club in Huntsville. He attended Sam Houston State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science and Finance.

Bill and wife Debra have three children, all of whom have served in the military.
