Annaliese Altendorf graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Accounting. After four years as an auditor, she switched careers to work with children. Annaliese then earned an alternative teaching certification and went on to teach in Spring and Klein schools for 20 years. She has been an active volunteer throughout her adult life, most notably with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Annaliese and her husband live in Livingston, where they enjoy cycling and traveling. They have four adult children.
