Anissa is a Huntsville native with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Music from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Arts in Health and Human Services from Liberty University. She is currently furthering her education. 

She serves as a Program Supervisor III at TDCJ, volunteers with the Trinity River Food Bank, and is a member of Heroines of Jericho. She founded Bold, Fearless and Faithful in 2024 and is a drummer and youth mentor at First Missionary Baptist.
